Star Wars FX Lightsabers - The Ultimate Star Wars Collectors Item

By R.M.Doyle

Anyone can now have the chance of being just like some of the well known characters to be found in the Star Wars movies. This can be achieved by them owning one of the Star Wars FX Lightsabers. Certainly for anyone who is an avid fan of these sci-fi movies owning an official reproduction of such a piece of equipment from them is something to be cherished.

However, there are plenty of toy Lightsabers on the market today that are suitable for children, however the Star Wars FX Lightsabers are meant for older children and adults and this is why the cost a lot more. But they do come with a number of wonderful features and we look at them below.

1. The blades of these Lightsabers glow and ignite with the same realistic power up and down effects that you will have seen in the ones used in the movies.

2. The sound effects that these Star Wars FX Lightsabers make will have you feeling as you are really in the movies. This is because they have been digitally recorded from the Star Wars movies.

3. Each one of the different models of Star Wars FX Lightsabers have four motion sensors which help to control the sound effects, the power up , the power down, the idle hum and clash.

4. The hilt of each one is made from durable metal not only does it look like those in the movies but as you handle it, it feels like one.

5. They all come with their own display stands where they can be placed once you have finished competing with each other.

The biggest decision you will have to make when you are thinking of purchasing one of these Lightsabers which of the models it is you want. For some they may prefer to go for the Darth Vader version that has a red blade, but for others they may prefer to be Luke Skywalker whose model has a blue blade or for others they may want to hold Yoda's green blade model.

But in order to run each one of these you do require batteries for them. For the Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker Star Wars FX Lightsabers you will need 3 x AA batteries to power all its features. As for the Yoda model this one because it is smaller being only 33 inches in length needs 3 x AAA batteries. - 16039
