This movie has all the ingredients of a classic romantic comedy.
GET SMART: Maxwell Smart (agent 86) is at it again, "and loving it". The classic James Bond spy spoof, gadgets galore, and all the great one liners. It is fun to have another glimpse back at the world of KAOS and CONTROL.
PINEAPPLE EXPRESS: Full time stoner Dale Denton has just seen a bad police officer, and a big time dealer, kill someone. He was spotted, and they know he has seen what's gone down. Realizing this, he is so shaken he throws down his joint, a rare blend named pineapple express, and he flees. The pot is so unique, that the bad guys can. The "fun" is ?on?, and Dale and his pot dealer friend Saul are desperately hiding from the bad guys.
ROLE MODELS: Danny (Paul Rudd) and Wheeler (William Scott), who sell energy drinks, are going to see some hard jail time because they binged, and trashed the company truck. The option to get out of going to prison is to perform 150 hours of community service. Their task will be to become mentors as sort of a big brother. The pieces are all in place for this to be very funny.
MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA: As the title suggests, this is the sequel to the animated smash hit Madagascar. The four animal heroes, Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo want to return to the Central Park Zoo in NY, from their first adventure. With things going wrong again, with the Penguins leading them astray, they will wind up going to Africa instead.
TROPIC THUNDER: Overloaded with good actors this outrageous flick is a parody of recent war movies. To get a realistic performance from the over rated cast of actors to see the movie be a success, the frantic, and abused, director Damien Cockburn into the middle of nowhere, and leaves them on their own. His plan is to shock them so they will produce a ?work of genius?, that will be recorded on hidden cameras. Unbelievably, as the director blows up on an old French land mine, the actors are now truly on their own, and they start acting, thinking it's a big set, but things are getting very, very real. Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., and Tom Cruise star in it.
STEP BROTHERS: When two 40 year olds, who both live at home with one parent, find themselves having to live in the same bedroom because their mom and dad get married, you have one crazy situation. Having the combination of Reilly and Ferrell as the key players, and this seems to be a great recipe for a funny movie. This comedy looks like a must see for comedy lovers.
